Carter Beauty owner, Marissa Carter has devised and developed her own range of signature beauty products which are loaded with natural and herbal antioxidants, neutralising free radicals (the number one cause of aging and skin damage) and include natural vitamins and herbal ingredients which strengthen and nourish skin.
All products are hypo-allergenic and pH balanced, suitable for all skin conditions. All ingredients are completely natural plant based without the use of petroleum or coal tar chemicals, artificial colours or fragrances. Carter Beauty products are not tested on animals - no animal content. The packaging is fully bio-degradable and recyclable.

At Carter Beauty we use the Diamond wand precision peel system for our microdermabrasion treatments. This revolutionary crystal free technology allows the client to receive microdermabrasion without the dangers associated with traditional crystal systems. The diamond peel system uses surgical grade diamonds to gently exfoliate the skin and can be adjusted to suit all skin types including gentle eye areas.
The Diamond system is crystal free making treatments safer and more comfortable unlike the traditional crystal microdermabrasion systems.

Combining the latest in skin analysis techniques with the proven records of Chinese diagnostics, the Face Mapping procedure provides the therapist with an objective view of the skin's condition, as well as an indication of the underlying health issues that might be affecting it. Avoid Waxing If:
You are using Retin A or Ro-Accutane at time of treatment or in the last 6 months; you are hypersensitive to heat; you are deficient in iron or have an extremely low immune system; you have been exposed to sun or sun-beds in the last 24 hours; you are diabetic.

This luxurious treatment begins with a warm softening soak, dull skin and dry cracked cuticles are gently removed with either a sea salt scrub or peppermint scrub. Note: Our pedicures are given in our unique ‘Californian Style’ custom made pedicure nests! They can be closed off for privacy or opened up for a group experience.
Feet are soaked in a warm foot spa; dry cracked, dull skin and cuticles are polished away with our signature Carter Beauty Sea Salt & Essential Oils scrub or a peppermint scrub after which feet and legs are massaged with an invigorating eucalyptus oil to stimulate circulation and leave feet tingling and fresh. Nails are filed, tidied and completed with a shot of colour or French paint.

Get your baby feet back! Removes corns, calluses, cracked heels, rough dry hard skin build-up, dark pigmented areas and any fungal or bacterial infections. You will see visible changes with just one treatment however your therapist will advise you if you need more than one treatment. Clinical trials have proven that MediPedi reduced further callous build up and left the feet smoother and softer for much longer. Unlike rasping and scraping techniques which research has shown to cause a thickening of the skin that resulted in a short-lived/unsatisfactory solution to dry, calloused feet. This treatment is 100% hygienic, sage and best of all effective. Herbal pigment oil and calerase cream must be used at home to maintain effects of treatment. Treatment includes removal of cuticles; file, buff and polish. This treatment is usually performed on a treatment bed and not in our pedicure nests but this may vary.

Vani-T Organic Tanning
Vani-T products contain: All natural and organic ingredients; NO petro-chemicals, mineral oils; NO parabens; NO artificial preservatives; NO artificial colours or fragrance; NO animal testing. High in vitamins, active ingredients, luscious natural oils and pure botanicals.
Liquid sun is comes in Light, Medium and Dark. Perhaps even more noteworthy is that it does not have that typical false tan smell!
Pre-Treatment Advice: Exfoliate well the night before, paying particular attention to dry areas such as hands, elbows, knees and feet. Do not apply deodorant or moisturiser on the day of your treatment. Apply nail varnish to fingers and toes. Wear loose clothing and bring your flip flops.

Cancellation Policy
When making a booking at Carter Beauty a credit card or deposit is required to ensure your appointment. 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or change an appointment; otherwise we regret that the full cost of the treatment will be charged.
Group Events
Carter Beauty can will host your next event, whether it's a bridal party, corporate event or just a catch up with friends. Please note group events can be held during our regular working hours and also Friday and Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Our treatment rooms can also facilitate couples or friends who wish to have their treatments together in the same room. Arrive in Good Time
