Carter Beauty & Acne Clinic: Who are we?
Carter Beauty & Acne Clinic is Ireland's first and only specialised acne clinic. The clinic is owned and run by IBPA 2007 Facial Therapist of the Year and Shell Livewire 'Entreprenerial Spirit' award winner, Marissa Carter. Carter Beauty received the IBPA 2007 Standard of Excellence Award which recognises that staff are highly trained, excellent customer service, that the range and quality of treatments/products on offer is of a very high standard and that the interior is comfortable, clean and safe.
What do we do?
While we offer a wide range of treatments, we specialise in results driven skincare. We focus on treating serious skin conditions through the use of paramedical treatments. Paramedical treatments are stronger than typical 'salon' facials and are performed by 'Paramedical Therapists'. Paramedical Therapists can use and recommend the use of pharmaceutical grade products to treat the skin.

What products do we use?
Carter Beauty Skincare: This skincare range was devised and developed by Marissa Carter who studied Cosmetic Chemistry and Skin Histology in Philadelphia USA. Carter Beauty skincare is her own range of signature beauty products which are loaded with natural and herbal antioxidants, neutralising free radicals (the number one cause of aging and skin damage) and include natural vitamins and herbal ingredients which strengthen and nourish skin. All products are hypo-allergenic and pH balanced, suitable for all skin condtitions. All ingredients are completely natural plant based without the use of petroleum or coal tar chemicals, artificial colours or fragrances. Carter Beauty products are not tested on animals - no animal content. The packaging is fully bio-degradeable and recyclable. Carter Beauty Skincare products are used for all Carter Beauty Facials, Manicures, Pedicures and Massage treatments unless specified otherwise.
Danné Montague King: Immitating nature for natural results has been the basis of the Danné concept for more than 30 years. Danné has created one of the most advanced skin care systems available. DMK products are used during Carter Beauty's paramedical treatments and a homecare programme must be followed if you are receiving paramedical treatments.
